Refund Policy
Last updated: January 2026
Domain name transfers are unique transactions: once a domain is transferred into your registrar account, it cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. This policy describes what happens at each stage of a transaction.
1. Before Payment
You may withdraw an offer at any time before payment is initiated, free of charge.
2. After Payment, Before Transfer
If you change your mind after initiating payment but before the domain has been transferred, you may request cancellation. Escrow.com or GoDaddy handle refunds according to their own terms, which typically include a small processing fee (usually 1–3% of the transaction value).
3. After Transfer
Once a domain has been successfully transferred (pushed or moved) into your account, the sale is final. No refunds will be issued.
4. Disputes
If the transferred domain materially differs from what was advertised (e.g., a different spelling, suspension, or undisclosed encumbrance), contact us within 48 hours. Verified material discrepancies are eligible for a full refund and reverse-transfer.
5. Lease-to-Own Plans
For domains acquired through installment plans (GoDaddy Lease-to-Own), payments made on cancelled plans are non-refundable. The domain remains with Domainari until all payments clear.
6. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback after a successful transfer constitutes a breach of these terms and may result in domain reclamation and legal action.
